Many say that God desires to save all human beings. Yet Scripture repeatedly says that God gave only certain persons to Christ to be saved by Him.

(John 6:37) All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

(John 6:39) And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Jesus speaks of God the Father giving to Him only some people to save. Those are Jesus's sheep. Jesus said that it is certain that every one of them will be saved. Jesus will lose none of those whom the Father has given to Him.

This clearly indicates that God desires to save only some people. If He desired to save all human beings, He would have given all human beings to Jesus to be saved by Him.
